Today is Friday, February 12, 2021, and did I just see that right, and I loosing my mind, or maybe not sleeping enough attempting to make this site work, but I think I saw that Sam Darnold may be heading back home, well back west that is and stopping in San Fransisco. Thats right, I didn't believe it at first at all either, but after looking into it and hearing from some reliable people, it does sound like this may in fact turn into a reality and soon. With all the crazy quarterback talk that has already stole the headline for the 2021 off season talk, here is another one that not many people were thinking about. Darnold is from California, he played and played very well at USC, which is the reason he was drafted by the Jets, however since he has been in New York is has struggled with his play and the weapons that he has been given are suspect at best, so Darnold hasn't truly had a legit shot at being an NFL quarterback. Now is he goes to the 49er's he will most defiantly get a shot to show off what he's got, San Fran has some talent at receiver and running back and their defense should be healthy for the beginning of the 2021 season, and watching the 2020 season it was clear they needed a quarterback. Now, if Darnold goes to the 49er's that means the Jets will be receiving quarterback Jimmy G, who will be going from bad to worse if he is traded in this deal, he couldn't cut it with who he had in San Fran, there is no way he gets the job done in New York, and ultimately that will be the end of his career as a starting quarterback in the NFL. Now, that is just one of the trade rumors surrounding Darnold right now, actually that's the most simple of them, who knows, maybe a major blockbuster type deal with say 4 teams gets done, and Darnold ends up with the Texans, who knows.
